Jonathan Harriman has spent more than a decade as an advocate and negotiator and has achieved excellent results for clients at trial, arbitration, and mediation. Jonathan has worked on difficult cases involving catastrophic injuries and fatalities arising from truck accidents, plane crashes, product defects, and bicycle collisions. He began his career representing residents of a Bay Area neighborhood that was severely damaged by a flood and resulting landslide. The matter went to a jury trial and his clients prevailed.
At Emison Hullverson, Jonathan fights vigorously for his clients in the courtroom, at deposition, and when preparing legal briefs. He enjoys getting to know his clients and their families and helping them navigate the legal system. Jonathan uses his experience as a former defense attorney to present claims in a way that connects with insurers and maximizes his client’s compensation.
Jonathan volunteers at Balboa High School’s Law Academy where he teaches juniors about the legal system, their rights, and how they can use the law to change their community. He is also a board member and volunteer attorney at the Coalition of Concerned Legal Professionals (CCLP) in the Bayview-Hunter’s Point neighborhood of San Francisco where he conducts free legal help sessions for individuals who cannot afford legal representation.
When not representing clients, Jonathan enjoys biking, running, and exploring California with his wife Annie and their son Sebastian.
